Product Overview

The Radian Raptor-SL is a slim-line ambidextrous charging handle for AR-15 and M4 rifles, machined from 7075 aluminium and fitting any Mil-Spec AR-15/M4 upper receiver.

The Raptor with a lower profile — slim-line levers that sit closer to the receiver while keeping true ambidextrous control.

The Radian Raptor-SL trims the lever profile of the standard Raptor for a cleaner, more snag-resistant silhouette, without giving up the dual-lever, charge-from-either-side design or 7075 aluminium strength. Ideal where a low-profile handle suits the build but ambidextrous charging is non-negotiable.

On a UK straight-pull AR-15 the charging handle is cycled by hand for every shot, so it is the control you use more than any other on the rifle. Dual levers mean you can work the action with either hand without breaking your firing grip, and the slim-line profile keeps the levers out of the way of a sling, a bag or a cheek weld between strokes.

What the Raptor-SL fits

For a suppressed build the Raptor-SD-SL adds a vented, gas-deflecting shaft to the same slim profile, and the Raptor-LT is the lightweight full-size handle.

Will the Raptor-SL fit my rifle?

What does the slim-line profile change?

The levers are trimmed so they sit closer to the receiver, giving a lower, more snag-resistant silhouette that stays clear of a sling, a bag or your cheek. The dual-lever, charge-from-either-side design and the 7075 aluminium body are unchanged. On a UK straight-pull AR-15, where the handle is worked by hand on every shot, that means less to catch between strokes.

How does it compare with the standard Raptor?

The standard Raptor has fuller levers and a larger gripping surface and is offered in five finishes; the SL trades some of that surface for a lower profile and is supplied in black. Neither carries the vented shaft that the Raptor-SD and Raptor-SD-SL use for suppressed shooting. Both sit in charging handles and safety selectors.

Is fitting straightforward?

Yes — it’s a drop-in swap with no tools beyond your hands. The factory handle comes out and the Raptor-SL goes in exactly the same way, with no permanent changes to the rifle. Cycle the action a few times dry afterwards to check the slimmer levers suit your grip before you shoot it.
