The Radian Raptor-LT is a lightweight ambidextrous charging handle for AR-15 and M4 rifles, machined from 7075 aluminium and fitting any Mil-Spec AR-15/M4 upper receiver.

The Raptor, lightened — the same true-ambidextrous control with trimmed levers and reduced mass for weight-conscious builds.

The Radian Raptor-LT keeps the dual-lever, charge-from-either-side design that made the Raptor a benchmark, in a lighter profile with slimmed levers. It's the pick for a lightweight carbine or race build where every gram counts but you refuse to give up genuine ambidextrous charging and 7075 aluminium durability.

That matters most on a UK straight-pull AR-15, where the action is cycled by hand on every single shot and the charging handle becomes the control your hands touch more than any other. Will the Raptor-LT fit my rifle?

It drops into any Mil-Spec AR-15/M4-pattern upper receiver exactly like the factory handle, including UK straight-pull uppers built to the same pattern. No fitting is involved and no tools are needed beyond your hands. If you’re unsure which pattern your upper receiver is, contact us with details of the rifle before ordering.

What makes it the lightweight version?

The LT keeps the Raptor’s dual-lever, charge-from-either-side design but slims the lever profile to take mass off the top of the receiver. It is still machined from 7075 aluminium, so the weight comes out of the shape rather than out of the material. It is aimed at lightweight carbine builds where every gram is accounted for but ambidextrous charging is not up for negotiation.

How does it compare with the standard Raptor?

The standard Raptor has fuller levers and a broader gripping surface, which suits shooters who charge with a full-hand grasp; the LT trades some of that surface for reduced weight. Both charge from either side and both are 7075 aluminium. The LT comes in Black, Flat Dark Earth and Stealth Grey — see the rest of the range in charging handles and safety selectors.

Is fitting straightforward?

Yes — it’s a drop-in swap with no tools beyond your hands. The factory handle comes out and the Raptor-LT goes in exactly the same way, with no permanent changes to the rifle. On a straight-pull AR-15, where you work the handle on every shot, it is worth running a few dry cycles afterwards to check the stroke feels clean.
