The Radian Raptor-LT 7.62 is a lightweight ambidextrous charging handle for AR-10, SR25 and 7.62/.308 rifles, machined from 7075 aluminium and fitting large-frame AR-10/SR25-pattern upper receivers.

The Radian Raptor-LT for 7.62 trims mass from the Raptor ambidextrous charging handle while keeping the true dual-lever design and 7075 aluminium strength needed for large-frame bolt mass. The choice for a lightweight .308 or 7.62 build that still demands genuine ambidextrous charging.

On a UK straight-pull large-frame rifle the handle is cycled by hand on every shot, which makes it the most-used control on the gun — and the one that has to move a heavy bolt carrier every time. Dual levers let you work the action with either hand without breaking your firing grip, and the trimmed profile keeps the weight off the top of the receiver.

Will the Raptor-LT 7.62 fit my rifle?

It drops into AR-10 / SR25-pattern (7.62 / .308) upper receivers exactly like the factory handle, with no tools required. It is not compatible with AR-15 uppers, which use a smaller receiver. Large-frame patterns vary between manufacturers, so contact us with the make and model if your rifle is an unusual build.

What makes it the lightweight version?

The LT trims the lever profile of the Raptor to take mass off the top of the receiver, while keeping the true dual-lever, charge-from-either-side design and the 7075 aluminium construction a large-frame rifle needs. On a .308 the bolt carrier is heavier than an AR-15’s, so the material still has to do its job. On a UK straight-pull large-frame rifle the handle is worked by hand on every shot, which is where that combination of low weight and strength earns its keep.

How does it compare with the other 7.62 Raptor handles?

The plain Raptor for 7.62 has fuller levers and a larger gripping surface, and the SD version adds a vented, gas-deflecting shaft for suppressed shooting; the LT is the one to take if weight is your priority. All three share the same dual-lever layout and 7075 aluminium build, and all are supplied in black. The wider large-frame range is in AR-10 and LR-308 parts.

Is fitting straightforward?
