The SureFire X300U-A Ultra in tan is a compact weapon light producing 1000 lumens and 11,300 candela from two CR123A lithium cells, for approximately 213 metres of beam distance.
A TIR lens shapes that output into a tight central beam with useful light around it, so you get reach without losing sight of what is either side of the target.
The body is aerospace aluminium, rated IPX7 to a metre for thirty minutes, approximately 3.76 in (9.55 cm) long and 4.0 oz (113 g) with batteries fitted. It attaches by SureFire's Rail-Lock System, which indexes onto universal and Picatinny rails and locks with a lever, and ambidextrous switching gives momentary and constant-on operation from either side.
Runtime is approximately 1.25 hours on a fresh pair of cells, and this is a primary-cell light rather than a rechargeable one. The A-version lever latch is the fast one to fit and remove; if you would rather clamp down with a screw and leave it there, the B-version is the one to take.
