The SureFire X300T-A Turbo, part number X300T-A-TN, is the tan version of SureFire's compact rail-mounted light, focusing 650 lumens into 66,000 candela for approximately 514 metres of beam.
Turbo means the light is doing something specific with its output: concentrating it. Six hundred and fifty lumens focused this tightly reaches further than a thousand spread wide.
The body is aerospace aluminium with a Mil-Spec hard anodised finish in tan, 3.76 in (9.55 cm) long with a 1.125 in (2.9 cm) bezel and 4.4 oz (124.7 g) with batteries fitted. It is rated IPX7, which SureFire define as one metre for thirty minutes. Two CR123A lithium cells give approximately 1.5 hours of runtime, and switching is ambidextrous, using push or toggle operation from either side.
Attachment on the A version is SureFire's Lever Latch, which indexes onto a Picatinny accessory rail and locks without tools, so the light comes on and off quickly rather than being bolted in place. That makes it equally at home on a railed pistol, a carbine forend or a railed shotgun. It is not a rechargeable light, so factor in a supply of CR123A cells if you use it regularly.
