The SureFire X300T-B Turbo, part X300T-B-TN, is a compact rail-mounted weapon light in tan, built around a tight Turbo beam rather than a broad one.
Candela is what decides how far a light reaches, and 66,000 of it from 650 lumens is a deliberately narrow beam. This light is made to identify something at distance, not to flood a room.
Two CR123A lithium cells drive it for roughly 1.5 hours, throwing approximately 514 metres. The head measures 1.125 in (2.9 cm) across the bezel and the whole light is 3.76 in (9.55 cm) long and 4.4 oz (124.7 g) with batteries fitted, in an aerospace aluminium body rated IPX7. Switching is ambidextrous, using push and toggle from either side.
The B in the name is the mounting: a T-slot thumbscrew clamp that tightens down onto a MIL-STD-1913 rail. It is slower to fit than SureFire's lever system but it grips hard and stays where it is put, which suits a light that is set up once and left alone. The A version uses the Rail-Lock lever instead if you move a light between hosts regularly. Being a Turbo head, the spill either side of the hot centre is modest — that is the trade you are making for the reach.
