The SureFire ST07 is a low-profile remote tape switch that gives momentary-only activation to SureFire WeaponLights fitted with a plug socket.
Press for light, release for dark, and no latch anywhere in the system. It is the simplest switch SureFire build, and nothing about it can be left burning by mistake.
The cable measures approximately 7 in (17.8 cm), taken from the plug opening to the pad itself, and the switch is O-ring sealed. It attaches by adhesive-backed hook-and-loop, so it goes flat against a rail or handguard section wherever the support hand naturally sits, rather than being fixed to one bolt pattern.
On a rifle where the light sits well forward, the tailcap is out of reach without breaking the firing grip, and that is the problem this solves: the pad comes to the hand instead. Because it is momentary only, there is no constant-on to leave burning in a bag, which is the trade-off. If you want constant-on as well, a dual switch is the answer instead. It is the switch on its own, so it needs a light with a compatible remote socket already fitted.

What the ST07 fits
SureFire list it for WeaponLights fitted with plug sockets: Millennium Universal, Classic Universal, a Scout Light with a socketed tailcap, the X300, and an X400 with the XT tailcap assembly.
