The SureFire SR07-D-IT is a dual-lead remote switch that runs a SureFire weapon light and a compatible laser aiming device from a single pressure pad on a roughly 7 in (17.8 cm) cable.
One pad under the thumb instead of two. On a handguard that is already crowded, that is the difference between a workable build and a tangle of tape switches.
Two leads come off the pad, one to the light and one to the laser device. SureFire specify remote momentary-on activation, either lead on its own or both at once, so the light and the laser can be brought up separately or together without moving the support hand.
It is the switch for a rifle carrying both a white light and a laser aiming device, and for replacing a dual-lead pad that has been damaged. SureFire list its fitment as Millennium Universal and Classic Universal lights, Scout Lights with a socketed tailcap, and X200, X300 and X400 lights fitted with an XT tailcap alongside an ATPIAL or DBAL laser — worth checking against your tailcap before ordering, because a non-socketed tailcap will not accept it.

What the SR07-D-IT fits
SureFire Scout Lights with a socketed tailcap, plus the Millennium Universal and Classic Universal lights, and X200, X300 and X400 lights running an XT tailcap with an ATPIAL or DBAL laser.
