The SureFire DS-SR07 in Tan is a dual switching assembly for Scout Light weapon lights, pairing the DS00 waterproof switching tailcap with a remote tape pad on a cable of roughly 7 in (17.8 cm).
A light mounted well forward on a handguard puts its tailcap somewhere your thumb cannot reach without breaking your hold, and this is the part that fixes that.
The tailcap carries a click-on and click-off pushbutton, and the tape pad gives momentary activation on a press with click-on and click-off as well, so the light can be worked from the rear of the body or from wherever the pad is taped down. The whole assembly is finished in Tan to match tan-bodied Scout Lights.
Because the tailcap is part of the kit, this is a complete switching solution rather than a pad that assumes you already own a remote-capable tailcap. Having two independent points of control also means a damaged cable or a torn pad does not leave the light unusable. SureFire lists it for most Scout Light weapon lights and excludes only the Micro Scout Light Pro.

What the DS-SR07 Tan fits
It replaces the tailcap on a Scout Light in the M300, M340, M600 and M640 families, which covers most rifle-mounted SureFire lights, and it is not intended for the Micro Scout Light Pro.
