The Streamlight TLR-7 X sub, part 69402, is a subcompact rail-mounted pistol light cut for the MIL-STD-1913 rail fitment, and it is multi-fuel.
The output depends on what you feed it: 550 lumens from the CR123A lithium cell in the box, or 725 lumens from an SL-B9 USB-C rechargeable pack, in exactly the same body.
On the supplied CR123A it gives 550 lumens, 5,000 candela and a 141 metre beam for 1.5 hours; on an SL-B9 pack it steps up to 725 lumens, 7,700 candela and 176 metres for 1 hour. Ambidextrous high and low rear paddles give momentary and constant-on operation, with a safe-off setting and a user-enabled strobe. The machined aluminium body is anodised and rated IPX7, waterproof to one metre for thirty minutes, and measures 2.51 in (6.38 cm) at 2.39 oz with the CR123A or 2.64 oz with the SL-B9. Streamlight also lists the SIG P365-XMACRO as a fitment for this version.
It is the light for a subcompact frame, where a full-size body simply will not clear the trigger guard, and where a couple of ounces on the front of a small pistol is felt immediately. Be clear on what is in the box: this package includes the mounting kit, keys, multi-tool and one CR123A cell, but the SL-B9 rechargeable pack and USB-C cord are not included and are bought separately.
