The Streamlight TLR-1 HL-X, part 69500, is a full-size rail-mounted weapon light for pistols and long guns, supplied with two CR123A lithium cells.
It is one light with two ceilings. On the primaries in the box it makes 1000 lumens and 15,000 candela; put a pair of SL-B9 rechargeable packs in and the same head climbs to 1500 lumens and 20,000 candela.
Beam distance follows the same split: 245 metres on CR123A and 283 metres on SL-B9. Runtime runs the other way, 1.5 hours on the primaries against 1 hour at the higher output. The housing is 6000-series aircraft aluminium in a black anodised finish, 3.45 in (8.76 cm) long, 4.94 oz (140 g) with CR123A cells or 5.19 oz (147 g) on SL-B9, and rated IPX7 for a metre of water over half an hour.
Streamlight supply two rear paddle switches, High and Extended High, so the reach of the control can be matched to the hand and to the shape of the trigger guard, and either one works from both sides. It clamps on with a rail grip clamp using the locating keys in the box. The thing to be clear about is the battery package: this part number ships with primaries and the SL-B9 packs are bought separately, so if you want the rechargeable route in the box you are looking at the wrong part number.
