The Streamlight TLR-1 HL Long Gun Kit, part number 69262, is the 1000 lumen TLR-1 HL weapon light packaged for rifles and carbines with a remote pressure switch, a safe-off remote door switch, a standard door switch and mounting clips.
The light is the same one that has been bolted to pistols for years. What the kit adds is a way to work it with the hand that is already holding the forend.
Output is 1000 lumens with 20,000 candela of peak beam intensity, giving a wide 283 m beam and 1.5 hours of runtime from two CR123A lithium cells, which are included. The push-button on the light and the remote pressure switch work independently of one another, so a cable pinched under a rail cover or a pad that has come unstuck does not take the light out of action — you still have the button. The safe-off door switch is there for the times you want the light physically unable to come on. The beam is deliberately wide rather than tight: 20,000 candela over 283 m is a searching beam, not a spotlight for identifying something at the far end of a field.
