The Streamlight ProTac Rail Mount VIR Pro USB, part 88139, is a dual-spectrum long gun light: 1100 lumens of white light and a 940 nm infrared illuminator in one body, supplied with the SL-B26 rechargeable pack.
White light for everything the eye can use, infrared for everything it cannot. The selector sits in the head, with a cut-off that stops white light being triggered by accident while you are working under night vision.
White output runs 1100 lumens at 40,000 candela for 400 metres on high, 540 lumens at 19,000 candela for 276 metres on medium and 120 lumens at 4,200 candela for 130 metres on low. Infrared is 2,300 mW on high and 600 mW on low at 940 nm. The body is 6000-series anodised aluminium behind a BOROFLOAT lens, 5.65 in (14.35 cm) long and 8.8 oz with the SL-B26 fitted, rated IPX7 with the push-button tailcap and IPX4 with the remote switch in place.
Power is flexible: the SL-B26 USB rechargeable pack and cord are in the box, and two CR123A lithium cells will run it instead. White runtimes are 2 hours, 3.75 hours and 14 hours on the pack, or 1.5, 2.75 and 11 hours on primaries; infrared gives 2 hours high and 9 hours low on the pack, 1.25 and 7.25 hours on CR123A. The Jack-Cap tailcap takes either the push-button or the supplied remote pressure switch, and the light mounts to Picatinny or, with the included mount, to M-LOK. The infrared side is only of use with night vision, since 940 nm is invisible to the naked eye.

What the ProTac VIR Pro USB fits
It clamps to a MIL-STD-1913 rail section and the supplied hardware adapts it to an M-LOK handguard, so most modern rifle forends will take it directly.
