The Streamlight ProTac Rail Mount HL-X Pro USB, part number 88127 in black, is a long-throwing rail-mounted rifle light producing 1000 lumens and 50,000 candela for a 447 metre beam.
The Pro part is the Jack-Cap tail, which runs a push-button and a remote pressure switch at the same time, each working independently of the other, so one failing does not put the rifle in the dark.
The body is black anodised aluminium, 5.43 in (13.79 cm) long, weighing 7.2 oz with the SL-B26 pack fitted or 6.6 oz on CR123A cells, and rated IP67 with the push-button in place or IP54 with the remote switch. It is multi-fuel: the SL-B26 USB rechargeable battery pack and cord are supplied, and two CR123A lithium cells will run it as a fallback. It clamps to MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny directly and an M-LOK mount is included in the box.
Runtime on the SL-B26 is 1.75 hours on high, 24 hours on the 60 lumen low and 3.5 hours in strobe; on two CR123A cells that becomes 1.25 hours, 21 hours and 2.5 hours. TEN-TAP programming sets the mode order, so the light can be left as high and strobe, high only, or low then high, depending on whether you want the strobe available at all. Fifty thousand candela is a genuinely tight beam for a rail light, which is what puts usable light on something at distance rather than simply flooding the ground in front of you.

What the ProTac HL-X Pro fits
It clamps straight onto a MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail, and the M-LOK mount in the box covers an M-LOK handguard without buying an adapter; our M-LOK vs Picatinny mounting guide covers the difference. The same beam without the Jack-Cap tail or the rechargeable pack is the ProTac Rail Mount HL-X, and a shorter, lighter option is the ProTac Rail Mount 2.
