The Streamlight ProTac Rail Mount 1L-X USB Pro, part 89025, is the top specification of the compact 1L-X rail light, supplied with the Jack-Cap tail cap, a momentary remote pressure switch and an M-LOK kit.
The Jack-Cap is what you are paying for: it runs a push-button and a remote pressure switch at the same time, each working on its own, so one failing does not put the light out of action.
The body is 6000-series aircraft aluminium, black anodised, 4.64 in (11.79 cm) long and 5.5 to 5.6 oz depending on the cell, behind a BOROFLOAT lens. It is rated IP67 with the push-button fitted and IP54 with the remote in place. In the box are the light, the Jack-Cap, the momentary pressure switch, the M-LOK kit, a hardware kit, a 2.5 mm Allen wrench, an SL-B9 rechargeable pack and a USB cord.
On the included SL-B9 pack it gives 850 lumens and 30,000 candela for a 346 metre beam, running half an hour on high or four and a half hours on the 100 lumen low setting, with a 1.25 hour strobe. Drop in a CR123A lithium cell instead and the same light gives 500 lumens and 18,000 candela for 268 metres, running 1.75 hours on high, 6.5 hours on low and 2.5 hours in strobe. That is the honest caveat behind the headline number: 850 lumens is an SL-B9 figure, not a CR123A one. TEN-TAP programming sets the mode order.

-

-
Build — 6000-series aluminium with a BOROFLOAT lens, IP67 with the push-button and IP54 with the remote
What the 1L-X USB Pro fits
It clamps to a MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail as supplied, and the M-LOK kit in the box mounts it directly to an M-LOK handguard. Without the remote switch, the same light is the ProTac 1L-X USB; with a CR123A instead of the rechargeable pack it is the ProTac 1L-X; and our M-LOK versus Picatinny guide covers which interface to use.
