The Streamlight ProTac Rail Mount 2, part 88059, is a low-profile long gun light producing 625 lumens and 22,000 candela for a 297 metre beam.
Both switches are in the box. Most lights at this size make you choose between a tail cap and a pressure pad, then sell you the other one separately.
The body is 6000-series machined aircraft aluminium in a black anodised finish, 5 in long and 5 oz, running two CR123A lithium cells which are supplied. On high it gives 2 hours; the 60 lumen low setting produces 2,000 candela for an 89 metre beam and runs 21 hours, and strobe lasts 2.75 hours. TEN-TAP programming sets which of those modes comes up first.
It suits a rifle or shotgun that needs a genuinely useful beam without a fist-sized light hanging off the handguard. The fixed mount is cut for MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny and an M-LOK mount is included for slotted handguards. One caveat on sealing: it is rated IPX7 with the push-button tail cap fitted, but IPX4 when the remote switch is in place, so a wet permission is a reason to think about which switch stays on the gun.
