The Streamlight ProTac Rail Mount 1 is a dual-fuel long-gun weapon light that will run either a CR123A lithium cell or a standard AA, part number 88058.
One of each cell comes in the box, so the light works on lithium when you want the output and on a AA bought anywhere when you do not.
The body is 6000-series machined aircraft aluminium with an anodised finish, 4.25 in (10.8 cm) long and 4.3 oz with a CR123A or 4.5 oz with an alkaline. Sealing is IPX7 with the push-button tail cap fitted and IPX4 with the remote in place.
On a CR123A it makes 350 lumens and 12,000 candela for a 219 metre beam, running 1.75 hours; on a AA alkaline that becomes 150 lumens and 4,950 candela for 141 metres over 1.5 hours. The 40 lumen low runs 14.5 hours on lithium or 8 hours on alkaline, and strobe runs 3 hours or 2.75 hours respectively. TEN-TAP programming lets you reorder the modes: high with strobe, high on its own, or low before high. Both a remote pressure switch and a push-button tail cap are supplied, so it can be set up either way without buying anything else.

What the ProTac Rail Mount 1 fits
It clamps to a MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail as supplied, and to an M-LOK handguard through the adapter in the box, which covers most modern rifle and shotgun forends. For more output on two cells see the ProTac Rail Mount 2, and for far longer throw the ProTac Rail Mount HL-X. Our M-LOK versus Picatinny guide covers the mounting choice.
