The SIG Sauer TANGO-MSR 1-10x26 in black, part number SOTM11002, is a first focal plane low-power variable rifle scope with the illuminated MSR BDC10 reticle on a 34 mm tube, supplied with an ALPHA-MSR cantilever mount.
First focal plane is what separates this scope from the rest of the TANGO-MSR line. The BDC10 grows and shrinks with the image, so its holdovers read correctly at 4x and 7x, not only at maximum power.
The tube is 34 mm with a 26 mm objective, and turrets are capped and move in MOA, at 0.5 MOA per click. Reticle illumination runs from a CR2032 cell. The scope arrives with SIG's ALPHA-MSR cantilever mount at 1.535 in, so the rings, the fasteners and the height are settled before it comes out of the box.
A ten-times zoom range asks a scope to be two things at once, and this one is set up to be used through the reticle rather than the turrets: hold off the BDC10 at whatever magnification the target suits, rather than dialling and remembering to dial back. That is a working style, not a universal truth — if you prefer to dial elevation, capped turrets are a deliberate obstacle. The 26 mm objective keeps weight and mounting height down at the cost of some light at 10x in poor conditions.

What the TANGO-MSR 1-10x26 fits
