The SIG Sauer TANGO-MSR 1-10x26 (SOTM11202) is a 1-10x low-power variable rifle scope with the illuminated MSR BDC10 reticle in the first focal plane, built on a 34 mm tube with a 26 mm objective.
First focal plane is what separates this scope from the rest of the TANGO-MSR line: the reticle grows with the image, so the drop marks mean the same thing at 4x as they do at 10x.
The 34 mm main tube carries capped MOA turrets, and reticle illumination runs from a CR2032 cell. SIG supplies the ALPHA-MSR cantilever mount in the box, so the scope arrives with its mounting solved rather than as a separate calculation.
A ten-times zoom range asks a lot of one optic, and the compromise SIG has made is a 26 mm objective rather than a larger bell, which keeps the scope compact over a flat-top receiver. Holding off the reticle is where the first focal plane pays: the BDC10 subtensions stay correct at any setting on the ring, so a fast second shot does not need the magnification returned to maximum first. Capped turrets suit a shooter who zeroes once and then holds, rather than one who dials every shot.
