The SIG Sauer JULIET4 is a fixed 4x magnifier with a 24 mm objective, supplied in black on SIG's PowerCam quick-release mount.
4x is the middle ground on purpose: more reach than a 3x, without the narrow and unforgiving picture a 6x gives you behind a red dot on an unsupported shot.
The PowerCam mount swings the magnifier 90 degrees clear of the sight and releases it from the rail without tools, so the rifle goes from 1x to 4x and back one-handed. SIG lists the magnifier at 4.2 in (107 mm) and 12.5 oz (357 g), and rates it IPX-8 for immersion to 20 m for one hour.
It has no reticle of its own — it magnifies whatever red dot sits in front of it, which means the dot's angular size is magnified along with everything else, so a 2 MOA dot still covers 2 MOA of target at 4x. The practical limitation is weight and position: 12.5 oz sits well behind the balance point of a carbine, and the magnifier has to share a height with the sight ahead of it or the image will not centre.

What the JULIET4 fits
