The SIG Sauer JULIET6 is a fixed 6x magnifier for use behind a red dot sight, supplied on a quick-detach lever mount for MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rails.
Six times is the strongest magnification SIG builds into the JULIET line, and it turns a red dot from a close-range sight into something that will resolve detail well past where a 3x runs out.
SIG gives the objective as 24 mm, the exit pupil as 4 mm and the field of view as 4 degrees, with a dioptre adjustable through plus and minus 2 and 60 MOA of windage and elevation travel to bring the magnified image onto the sight's reticle. A magnifier has no reticle of its own — it enlarges whatever the sight in front of it shows, so the sight sets the aiming point and the JULIET6 sets the detail. The honest trade at 6x is the eye box: the higher the magnification, the less forgiving the head position, and at 14.7 oz this is a substantial weight sitting behind the optic.
