The Holosun SCS Carry, part SCS-CARRY-GR, is a 1x enclosed pistol sight powered by an internal rechargeable cell that charges from ambient light, showing a green Multi-Reticle System behind a 0.9 x 0.63 in window.
There is no battery tray on this sight because there is no battery to replace. Light going into the panel is what keeps the reticle lit, and Holosun hold roughly 20,000 hours of reserve behind it for the days that light does not come.
The reticle switches between a 2 MOA dot, a 32 MOA circle and both together. Windage and elevation move in 1.5 MOA per click across 30 MOA of travel each way. The housing is 7075-T6 aluminium, 1.6 x 1 x 0.95 in and 1.06 oz, rated IPX8 and tested to 5000G, with the emitter sealed inside rather than sitting in an open channel. Brightness is automatic, though Holosun do provide a manual override that holds a chosen level for 30 minutes before handing control back.
Take care over the footprint, since the trade regularly gets this the wrong way round. The sight is machined to Holosun's own K pattern and mounts directly to it; the RMSc-to-K adapter plate supplied in the box is what allows it onto an RMSc-cut slimline slide. The absence of a removable cell is the whole design and it cuts both ways: nothing to source, nothing to fit, nothing to leave behind, but also no way to swap a fresh cell in if the reserve ever runs flat in storage. Leave it somewhere with daylight and that does not arise.
