The Holosun SCS MOS in green, part number SCS-M-GR, is a 1x enclosed pistol sight that mounts directly to a Glock MOS slide with no adapter plate, powered by an internal rechargeable cell that charges from light.
SCS stands for Solar Charging Sight, and that is the entire proposition: no tray, no coin cell to source, no service interval — the panel and its multi-directional light sensors keep the internal cell topped up.
The housing is titanium, which is unusual on a pistol optic and is what keeps a sealed body down to 1.3 oz at 1.9 x 1.0 x 0.95 in. The window measures 0.9 x 0.63 in, the sight is rated IP67, and the emitter sits behind sealed glass so rain, grit and pocket lint cannot reach the LED. Holosun rate the internal cell at 20,000 hours.
Brightness is automatic, with a manual override on setting 9 if you want to force it. The Multi-Reticle System gives a 2 MOA green dot, a 32 MOA circle, or both, adjustment is 1 MOA per click with 50 MOA of travel each way, and the sight is parallax-free with unlimited eye relief. The trade-off is deliberate and worth stating: it is cut for the Glock MOS pattern only, so it is not an RMR- or RMSc-footprint optic and will not move to another slide.
