The Holosun SCS PDP Green Dot Sight, SCS-PDP-GR, is a 1x enclosed pistol sight that direct-mounts to Walther PDP 2.0 optics-ready slides and carries the green Multi-Reticle System.
There is no battery tray on this sight, because there is no removable battery. The internal cell is charged by ambient light, which takes the single most common piece of red dot maintenance off the list entirely.
The housing is 7075-T6 aluminium at 2 x 1.05 x 0.95in and 1.35 oz, rated IP67 and tested to 5000G, with a fully enclosed 0.77 x 0.58in window and Shake Awake fitted. Holosun rate the internal cell at 20,000 hours. Brightness is set automatically from the ambient light, with a manual Brightness Override Setting 9 that forces maximum output for 30 minutes when you want it. Adjustments move in 1 MOA clicks with ±50 MOA of travel, and the emitter is 540nm green.
Direct mounting is the other half of the design. Because the sight is cut for the PDP 2.0 slide pattern rather than adapted to it, it sits as low as the factory cut allows, which is what makes a clean co-witness with standard iron sights possible instead of the raised sight line an adapter plate forces. The consequence is a narrow fitment: this is not an RMR or RMSc footprint optic and it will not go on anything else.
