The Holosun P.ID Dual is a rail-mounted pistol weapon light combining 800 lumens of white light with both a visible green aiming laser and an infrared laser.
One unit covers the naked eye and the night-vision tube, which is the argument for buying a multi-spectrum light rather than a white light and hoping.
The white LED throws 17,000 candela, the green laser is a 520nm Class 3R emitter under 5mW and the infrared laser is 830nm, Class 2M and under 0.7mW. Power comes from a rechargeable 18350 cell charged in place through a magnetic USB connector, so the light never has to be stripped to top it up. The body is 7075-T6 aluminium, hard anodised, rated IPX8, measuring 3.6 in (91 mm) and weighing 5.1 oz (145 g), and it clamps to MIL-STD 1913 rail.
Modes run white light alone, the visible laser alone, the infrared laser alone or combinations of them, selected through ambidextrous switches at the rear. Two practical points: the infrared laser shows nothing at all without a night-vision device, and the 3.6 in body needs that much clear rail under the dust cover, which rules out most subcompacts.

What the P.ID Dual fits
Full-size pistols with a MIL-STD 1913 accessory rail long enough to take the 3.6 in body, and any long gun with a Picatinny section. If you want a green laser without the infrared, the P.ID Plus is the one to take; with no laser at all, the P.ID and the high-candela P.ID HC cover the ground, and the P.ID-K is the compact body.
