The Holosun P.ID-K is the compact member of the P.ID weapon light family, a rail-mounted pistol light producing 500 lumens and 6,500 candela of peak beam intensity.
On a compact frame, the length of the light decides whether the pistol still goes in the holster and the case, and the P.ID-K is built short first and bright second.
Power is flexible: it ships with a USB-C rechargeable 16340 lithium-ion cell, and it will also run a CR123A primary if you would rather carry spares than a cable. Output is switchable between high and low, worked from ambidextrous rear switches. The body is 7075-T6 aluminium with a hard anodised finish, measures 2.6 x 1.2 x 1.3 in, weighs 3.2 oz, is rated IPX8 and is tested to 1500G. It clamps to MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny rails and fits holsters cut for the TLR-7 pattern.
At 500 lumens and 6,500 candela the beam is wide and even rather than far-reaching, which is the right balance for identifying something at the distances a compact pistol is actually shot at, indoors or in a yard. If you want throw rather than spread, this is the wrong light in the family, and Holosun does not publish a runtime figure for it, so treat the cell as something to top up rather than something to ration.

What the P.ID-K fits
