The Holosun HE407K X2, part HE407K-GR X2, is a 1x open-reflex sight on the Holosun K footprint, projecting a single 6 MOA green dot from a 540nm emitter.
Green reads brighter to the human eye than red at the same output, and a 6 MOA dot is the one the eye finds first as the sight comes up. On a small optic, that combination is what makes it quick.
The body is 7075-T6 aluminium at 1 oz, measuring 1.6 x 0.98 x 0.95 in with a 0.58 x 0.77 in window, rated IP67 and tested to 5000G. A CR1632 cell sits in a side-loading tray so it can be swapped without breaking zero, rated up to 50,000 hours, and Shake Awake sleeps the dot when the gun has been still.
Twelve brightness settings cover the range, ten for daylight and two for night vision, with 1 MOA clicks and plus or minus 30 MOA of travel. The X2 generation adds Lock Mode, so the setting cannot be nudged in a holster or a bag. Two honest limits: there is no solar backup on this model, and a 6 MOA dot that finds the target quickly also covers more of it, so shooters who want a finer aiming point should look elsewhere in the range.
