The Holosun HE407COMP in green, part number HE407COMP-GR-6, is a 1x open-emitter competition sight on the Trijicon RMR footprint, with a single fixed 6 MOA green dot behind a 1.1 x 0.87 in window.
Nothing to switch, nothing to set between stages. One large dot, in the colour the eye reads most brightly, behind as much glass as the body will carry.
The housing is 7075-T6 aluminium, rated IP67 against water and dust, tested to 5000G and weighing 1.7 oz over a body of 1.8 x 1.3 x 1.3 in. A CR1632 loads from the side and is rated for up to 100,000 hours at setting 6, with Shake Awake shutting the dot down when the gun has been still and last-setting recall bringing it back where you left it. Adjustment is 1 MOA per click with plus or minus 30 MOA of travel, across 8 daylight and 4 night-vision settings.
A 6 MOA dot is chosen for one reason: it is the fastest thing to find as the sights come up, and on a close stage that is what the timer measures. Green helps again for the same reason — at a given output it generally appears brighter than red. What you give up is precision at distance, where a 2 MOA dot covers less of the target, and there is no solar panel on this model, so the battery is doing all the work.

What the HE407COMP fits
It bolts to anything cut to the Trijicon RMR pattern — full-size optic-ready slides, RMR-pattern adapter plates and RMR-footprint rail mounts — and it is not an RMSc slimline optic, so a slim-slide cut will not take it.
