The Holosun HE407C X2 Green Dot Sight is a 1x open reflex sight with a single 2 MOA green dot, cut to the Trijicon RMR footprint.
One aiming point and nothing around it — no circle to switch to, no reticle menu to get lost in, just a fine dot that the eye finds and shoots.
The housing is 7075-T6 aluminium, rated IP67 and 5000G, weighing 1.5 oz with a 0.91 × 0.63 in window. Power is a CR1632 in a side-loading tray, so the cell changes without breaking zero, rated at up to 50,000 hours and backed by Solar Failsafe, which draws supplemental power from ambient light. Shake Awake sleeps the dot when the gun is still, and Lock Mode stops the buttons changing anything by accident.
The emitter is 540 nm green, which the eye reads as brighter than red at the same output, so it holds up against woodland, dark backgrounds and shaded ranges. Twelve brightness levels cover the range, ten of them daylight and two night vision compatible. Adjustment is 1 MOA per click with ±50 MOA of travel. The open construction is lighter and clearer than an enclosed sight, but the emitter is exposed, so heavy rain or a splash of mud on the wrong face can dim the dot until it is wiped.
