The Holosun EPS CORE Gold is a 1x enclosed-emitter pistol sight on a direct RMSc footprint, running the Multi-Reticle System in gold at 590nm — a dot, a 32 MOA circle, or both together.
An enclosed emitter on a slide-mounted sight solves the failure everyone has had: lint, rain or cleaning residue settling in front of an open LED and washing the aiming point out.
The housing is hard anodised 6061 aluminium measuring 1.61 x 1.18 x 0.97 in (40.9 x 30.0 x 24.6 mm) and weighing 1.4 oz (40 g), rated IPX8. A CR1620 loads from a side tray, so the cell changes without lifting the sight off the slide and losing zero, and Holosun rates it to 50,000 hours at setting 6 with Solar Failsafe and Shake Awake supporting it. Brightness is 8 daylight settings and 4 for night vision, with memory recall, and the window is 0.9 x 0.63 in.
CORE is the pared-back model in the EPS family, which is why it costs less than the full EPS while keeping the sealed emitter that is the reason to buy an enclosed sight at all. Adjustment is coarser than a rifle optic at 1.5 MOA per click with 30 MOA of travel each way, which is normal for this class and plenty for a pistol zero. Note that Holosun's own published figures for the dot size on this part number disagree with each other, so we do not quote one.

The RMSc pattern is the cut used on slim-slide optics-ready pistols, and this sight sits on it directly with no plate in between.
