The Holosun EPS CORE Green Dot Sight with the Multi-Reticle System is a 1x enclosed-emitter pistol sight on a direct RMSc footprint, weighing 1.4 oz (40 g).
An enclosed emitter on a slim-slide footprint, without an adapter plate in the stack — the sealed window is the whole reason to choose an EPS over an open reflex sight.
The housing is 6061 aluminium, hard anodised, rated IPX8 for water and 5000G for shock, measuring 1.61 × 1.18 × 0.97 in (40.9 × 30.0 × 24.6 mm) with a 0.90 × 0.63 in (22.9 × 16.0 mm) window. The CR1620 sits in a side-loading tray so the cell can be changed without unbolting the sight, is rated at up to 50,000 hours, and is backed by Solar Failsafe and Shake Awake.
The green Multi-Reticle System gives a 3 MOA dot, a 32 MOA circle, or both together, so the circle can be used to find the target fast and the dot to refine the shot. Brightness runs across eight daylight and four night vision levels with memory recall, and adjustment is 1.5 MOA per click. Note the travel: ±30 MOA is enough to zero a correctly cut slide but leaves less room than a rifle optic, so a badly aligned mounting surface will show.
