The Holosun AEMS Micro, AEMS-MICRO-RD, is a fully enclosed 1x red dot sight with the Multi-Reticle System behind a 0.71 x 0.71 in (18 x 18 mm) window, weighing 2.1 oz (60 g).
An enclosed emitter used to mean a big sight. This one measures 1.5 x 1 x 1.2 in and still seals the LED away from the weather completely.
The housing is 7075 aluminium, rated IPX8 for immersion and tested to 5000G of vibration, with the emitter sealed behind glass so rain, mud and pocket lint cannot sit in front of it. Power comes from a CR1620 cell rated at up to 100,000 hours, backed by Solar Failsafe, with Shake Awake to sleep the reticle when the gun is still and Lock Mode to stop the buttons being nudged. Twelve brightness settings run eight for daylight and four that are night-vision compatible, and windage and elevation move in 1 MOA clicks with 30 MOA of travel each way.
The reticle switches between a 2 MOA dot on its own, a 32 MOA circle on its own, or the two together, so the same sight can be set fine for deliberate shots or open for speed. The sight uses Holosun's own AEMS Micro footprint and ships with an RMSc adapter plate, which makes it a natural offset or piggyback sight next to a magnified optic where its weight barely registers. Anything cut for the RMR pattern will need the correct plate before it will take this sight.
