The Holosun AEMS Micro in green, part number AEMS-MICRO-GR, is a 1x enclosed-emitter sight with the Multi-Reticle System behind an 0.71 x 0.71 in (18 x 18 mm) window.
An enclosed emitter cannot be blanked by rain, mud or pocket lint, which is the one failure an open reflex sight genuinely suffers. The AEMS Micro is the smallest way Holosun sell that protection.
The housing is 7075 aluminium, rated IPX8 for immersion and tested to 5000G of vibration, and the whole sight weighs 2.1 oz (60 g). Power comes from a CR1620 coin cell rated at up to 100,000 hours, backed by Solar Failsafe, with Shake Awake putting the reticle to sleep when the gun is still and Lock Mode holding the settings where you left them. It mounts on the native AEMS Micro footprint and an RMSc adapter plate is supplied in the box.
The Multi-Reticle System switches between a 2 MOA green dot on its own, a 32 MOA circle on its own, and both together, so the same sight can be set fine for a deliberate shot or wide for speed. Twelve brightness settings split eight daylight and four night-vision compatible, adjustment is 1 MOA per click across a range of plus or minus 30 MOA, and eye relief is non-critical. At this size the window is small by rifle standards, so anyone who wants a large field to look through should be looking at the Macro instead.
Why shooters choose the AEMS Micro

What the AEMS Micro fits
It sits on its own AEMS Micro footprint, and the RMSc adapter plate supplied in the box opens it up to RMSc-pattern mounting. Its size and weight make it an obvious candidate for an offset or piggyback position beside a magnified optic, using a mount cut for one of those two patterns. The same sight is made as a red dot and a gold dot, and the larger-window version is the AEMS Macro in green.
