The Holosun AEMS Macro in green, part number AEMS-MACRO-GR, is an enclosed-emitter 1x sight running Holosun's Multi-Reticle System behind a 0.9 x 0.9 in (23 x 23 mm) window.
A sealed emitter and a square window the size of this one is an unusual combination at pistol scale. Nothing reaches the LED, and there is a great deal of glass to find the reticle in.
The housing is 7075 T6 aluminium, hard anodised and rated IPX8, and the sight weighs 2.5 oz with a body measuring 1.62 x 1.2 x 1.4 in. Power is a CR1632 coin cell rated for up to 100,000 hours, backed by Solar Failsafe and managed by Shake Awake and Lock Mode. Adjustment is 1 MOA per click with plus or minus 30 MOA of travel, and there are 12 brightness settings — 8 for daylight and 4 that work behind night vision.
Green sits near the peak of human eye sensitivity, so a green reticle at 540 nm generally reads brighter than a red one at the same setting. The Multi-Reticle System gives a 2 MOA dot for precision, a 32 MOA circle for speed, or both together, selected on the sight. Mounting is on the 509T footprint and Holosun includes an RMR-to-509T adapter plate, which widens what it will bolt to — check your slide cut or plate against that pattern before ordering, because Holosun does not publish a vibration rating for this model.
