The Holosun AEMS EVO Dual is a 1x enclosed-emitter rifle red dot sight with a visible green laser and an infrared laser built into the same housing, running Holosun's Multi-Reticle System.
Two devices become one. The lasers live inside the optic rather than on a separate rail-mounted module, so there is no second unit eating rail space, no second mount to knock loose and one less thing to align.
The reticle set switches between a 2 MOA dot, a 65 MOA circle and both together, behind a 1.26in x 0.98in window, and adjustment is 0.5 MOA per click with 50 MOA of travel each way. The green laser is 520nm Class 3R and the infrared laser is 850nm Class 1. Power is a single CR123A, which Holosun rates at 300,000 hours for the dot at setting 6, backed by Solar Failsafe and Shake Awake; the lasers draw far more, at 12 hours for the green and 50 hours for the IR. The 7075 T6 aluminium body is hard anodised, rated IPX8 and tested to 1000G of vibration, with 8 daylight and 4 night-vision brightness settings. Holosun gives the body as 3.03in x 2in x 2.68in and the weight as 10.6 oz, and supplies a Picatinny direct mount at 1.63in mount height.
It earns its place on a night-vision rig, where the IR laser is the aiming device and the enclosed emitter keeps working in weather that fouls an open reflex sight. Two honest points: at 10.6 oz with the mount this is a heavy optic by red dot standards, and the laser runtimes mean you should treat the lasers as something you switch on for the task, not leave running.
