The Holosun AEMS EVO Red Dot Sight is a 1x enclosed-emitter rifle sight running Holosun's Multi-Reticle System behind a 1.26 × 0.98 in (32 × 25 mm) window, supplied with a lower 1/3 co-witness mount.
The window is the reason this shape exists: a wide, squared-off view that lets both eyes stay open and makes transitions between targets quick rather than deliberate.
The housing is 7075-T6 aluminium, rated IPX8 for immersion and 1000G for shock, with the emitter sealed behind glass so rain, mud and grit cannot reach it. The optic weighs 8.15 oz and the supplied mount a further 2.45 oz. Power comes from a CR2032 in a side tray, rated at up to 100,000 hours, with Solar Failsafe drawing supplemental power in daylight and Shake Awake sleeping the reticle when the rifle is still.
The Multi-Reticle System switches between a 2 MOA dot on its own, a 65 MOA circle on its own, and both together, so the same sight can be set fine for a deliberate shot or wide for close work. Adjustment is 0.5 MOA per click with ±50 MOA of travel, and there are eight daylight brightness levels and four that are night vision compatible. An enclosed sight is heavier than an open one for the same window, which is the trade you accept for an emitter that cannot be blocked by weather.

What the AEMS EVO fits
The included mount is cut for a lower 1/3 co-witness on AR-pattern rifles, so it drops onto a flat-top receiver or a straight-pull upper with a Picatinny rail.
