The EOTech XPS3-0 is a 1x holographic weapon sight with a 68 MOA ring around a 1 MOA red centre dot, built in EOTech's shortest single-cell housing at 9.0 oz (255 g).
The battery sits across the body rather than along it, and that one decision is what makes this the shortest sight EOTech builds and frees the rail ahead of it.
EOTech gives the body as 3.8 x 2.1 x 2.5 in, made in the USA, running one CR123 cell for roughly 1,000 continuous hours at the nominal setting 12. It clamps to a 1in Weaver or MIL-STD-1913 rail with a cross-bolt rather than a lever, it is submersible to 33 ft (10 m), and EOTech rates it for use from -40F to 140F.
Twenty daylight settings and ten night-vision levels cover everything from bright sun to a Gen III tube, and the turrets move in 0.5 MOA steps. The compromise against the EXPS series is the mount: a cross-bolt is secure and low, but it takes a coin or a tool rather than a lever, so this is a sight you fit and leave rather than one you strip off between stages.

What the XPS3-0 fits
Any 1in Weaver or MIL-STD-1913 rail takes it, and the short body is the reason people put it on carbines with limited rail or on a shotgun receiver where every inch counts. For a second holdover dot, the XPS3-2 is the same housing with a two-dot reticle; for a bare aiming point, the XPS2-1 drops the ring; and the XPS2-0GRN runs the same pattern in green.
