The EOTech XPS3-2 is a 1x holographic weapon sight built around a 68 MOA speed ring carrying two stacked 1 MOA dots, in EOTech's shortest single-cell housing.
The second dot is the point of this model: a fixed holdover reference sitting below the primary aiming dot, so a longer shot is taken by changing which dot you use rather than by touching a turret.
The housing measures 3.8 × 2.1 × 2.5 in and weighs 9.0 oz (255 g), with a transverse CR123 cell rated at 1,000 continuous hours. It clamps to a 1 in Weaver or MIL-STD-1913 rail with a cross-bolt, adjusts in 0.5 MOA clicks, is rated to 33 ft (10 m) of depth and is made in the USA. Twenty daylight brightness settings are joined by ten more for Gen I to Gen III+ night vision.
Shooters pick it for mixed-distance work, for night-vision use and for short rails where the compact body leaves room behind for a magnifier. Two things to weigh: the cross-bolt clamp is a spanner job rather than a lever, so this is not the sight to strip off between stages, and the twin-dot reticle is busier in the window than a single dot when everything is close.

What the XPS3-2 fits
The cross-bolt clamp takes a 1 in Weaver or MIL-STD-1913 rail, so any flat-top receiver or rail section will do. For a single aiming dot in the same compact body, see the XPS3-0; the daylight-only twin-dot equivalent is the XPS2-2TAN. It also belongs in the straight-pull rifle optics conversation.
