The EOTech HHS VIII is a matched Holographic Hybrid Sight System in Coyote Tan: the EXPS3-0 holographic weapon sight with the G33 3x magnifier on EOTech's Switch-To-Side quick-detach mount.
This is the single-dot kit. One 1 MOA aiming point inside the 68 MOA ring, nothing else in the window, and 3x waiting on the swing arm behind it.
The sight projects its red reticle at 1x, adjusts in 0.5 MOA increments and runs from one CR123 lithium cell, which EOTech rate at around 1,000 hours. Twenty daylight settings are available and the sight is night-vision compatible with ten further levels below them. Both halves clamp to a 1in Weaver or MIL-STD-1913 rail, the magnifier on its Switch-To-Side base, and EOTech give the kit weight as 22.4 oz. The housings are sealed to 33 ft (10 m) and finished in Coyote Tan.
Bought together, the two optics arrive matched in height and finish, which saves the fiddle of shimming a magnifier bought later to a sight bought first. Swing the G33 aside and the sight works as a fast close-range holographic; swing it in and 3x is enough to identify what is at 200 or 300 yards. EOTech make the holographic sight in the USA and assemble the magnifier there, and it is worth being clear that a magnifier adds real weight and length to the top of the receiver.

What the HHS VIII Tan fits
Both units mount to a 1in Weaver or MIL-STD-1913 rail, so a flat-top receiver with enough rail behind the sight will carry the pair. If you want a dual-dot reticle in a shorter package, the HHS VI uses an EXPS3-2 with the G43, and the HHS V steps the magnifier up to 5x.
