The EOTech G43 in Tan, part number G43.STSTAN, is a 3x magnifier supplied on EOTech's Switch-to-Side quick-detach mount.
This is the short 3x. At roughly 3.1 in it takes noticeably less rail than the G33 at the same magnification, and gives a little more eye relief while it is at it.
The body carries a Tan finish, measures approximately 3.1 in (79 mm) and weighs approximately 11.3 oz (320 g), with approximately 2.5 in (64 mm) of eye relief. Windage and elevation are adjusted without tools so the magnified image can be centred on the sight in front of it. The STS mount clamps to a 1 in Weaver or MIL-STD-1913 rail and detaches quickly, and the magnifier is assembled in the USA.
A magnifier only earns its place if getting it out of the way is quick, which is what the Switch-to-Side mount is for: pushed aside the sight is back at 1x, swung in it is 3x. The G43 has no reticle of its own — it magnifies whatever the holographic or red dot sight in front of it is projecting, dot included — so flipping it in or out cannot move your zero. The practical constraint is rail space and matched height: sight and magnifier have to sit at the same centreline for the picture to line up.

What the G43 STS Tan fits
