A QD swivel is a small part carrying the entire weight of a rifle through a single spring-loaded plunger. When one lets go it does so without warning, usually because the button caught on a plate carrier or a bag strap. Bravo Company USA's heavy duty version addresses that directly: the push button is recessed flush into the body, so a glancing knock cannot depress it far enough to release the detents.
The body is carbon steel with a manganese phosphate finish, tumble deburred and sand blasted before plating — a process that leaves no sharp edges to abrade the sling webbing at the one point where it is under constant load. It takes slings up to 1-1/4 in (32 mm), which covers the majority of two-point and convertible rifle slings.

What the BCM QD Sling Swivel fits
Fits any standard push-button QD sling socket, which includes the sockets built into most current stocks and M-LOK handguards, the BCM QD End Plate, the MCMR QD Sling Mount and the Picatinny Rail QD Sling Mount. It suits AR-15/M4 rifles including UK straight-pull AR-15 builds. The sling loop takes webbing up to 1-1/4 in (32 mm) wide — if your sling is 1 in (25 mm) webbing and you want it held snug rather than loose in the loop, the 1 inch D-ring version is the better match. No sling is included.
