The SureFire M340C Mini Scout Light Pro in tan is a compact rifle-mounted light producing 500 lumens and 7,600 candela for roughly 175 metres of beam, from a single CR123A lithium cell.
It is the shortest body in the Scout Light Pro line, built for handguards where a full-size light has nowhere sensible to sit.
The body is Mil-Spec hard anodised aluminium with a 1.125 in (2.9 cm) bezel, sealed to IPX7, measuring approximately 4.1 in (10.4 cm) and weighing 3.65 oz (103.5 g) with the cell fitted. Runtime is one hour. A Z68 pushbutton tailcap gives momentary and constant-on, and both MIL-STD-1913 and M-LOK mounting are included, so the light attaches directly to either rail standard.
Five hundred lumens spread wide is a close and mid-range tool: good for checking ground, buildings and hedgerows, less suited to picking something out at the far end of a field. If reach is what you want in the same short body, the Turbo version is the model to look at instead.

What the M340C fits
It goes straight onto an M-LOK handguard or a Picatinny rail with the mounts supplied, so no separate adapter is needed.
