The SureFire M340C Mini Scout Light Pro is a compact 500 lumen rifle light in black, running from a single 123A lithium cell.
It is the smallest body in the Scout Light Pro line, built for short handguards where a full-size light simply has nowhere to sit.
SureFire rates the beam at 7,600 candela for approximately 175 metres, with 1.0 hours of runtime on the 123A lithium cell supplied. The aerospace aluminium body is 4.1 in (10.4 cm) long with a 1.125 in (2.9 cm) bezel, weighs 3.65 oz (103.5 g) with the battery fitted and is sealed to IPX7. It comes with the Z68 click tailcap and the low-profile mount, with MIL-STD-1913 and M-LOK hardware included.
The beam is a wide, even spread rather than a tight column. That is the right choice for close and mid-range work indoors, in a yard or across a hedge line, and the wrong one if you are trying to identify something at the far end of a field. For that job, the turbo-head models in the same family throw much further from the same size body.
