85,000 candela is what separates the HP from the standard ProTac 2.0: the same 2000 lumens, focused hard enough to put a usable hotspot 583 metres out rather than flooding the hedge in front of you.
High gives 2000 lumens, 85,000 candela and 583 m for 2.5 hours; low drops to 250 lumens, 11,500 candela and 214 m for 11 hours; strobe runs 4.5 hours and the light is TEN-TAP programmable. Power is one SL-B50 4,900 mAh USB-C rechargeable lithium-ion pack, included with its cord. The body is Type II MIL-spec anodised aluminium rated IP67, 6.30 in (16.0 cm) long and 9.06 oz.
It clamps straight onto a MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail and an M-LOK mount is in the box for handguards cut that way. The switch is what makes this the 89014 rather than the 89013: the momentary pressure switch and its mounting hardware come with it, so the light can go where the beam wants and the pad where your hand already is. The honest limitation is length — at 6.30 in this is a long light, and on a short handguard it will run past the muzzle.
