The Streamlight ProTac 2.0 Rail Mount in the 89009 system package is a rail-mounted long gun light producing 2000 lumens and 17,700 candela for a 266 metre beam, supplied with the remote switch and mounting hardware rather than as a bare light.
Seventeen thousand candela behind two thousand lumens is a deliberately balanced beam: enough hotspot to reach the far hedge, and enough spill either side of it to see what is happening around the thing you are looking at.
The body is Type II mil-spec anodised aluminium, 6.30 in (16.0 cm) long and 9.06 oz (257 g), rated IP67 for dust and immersion to one metre for thirty minutes, dropping to IPX4 with the remote switch plugged in. Power is an SL-B50 lithium-ion pack charged over USB-C, included with the light along with the cord. Low mode gives 250 lumens and 2,150 candela for a 93 metre beam, and runtime is 2.5 hours on high, 11 hours on low and 4.5 hours in strobe.
What separates 89009 from the light-only part number is the box contents: a straight momentary pressure switch, an M-LOK mount and the mounting hardware are all included, so the light goes onto either a Picatinny rail or an M-LOK handguard and can be run from the tail cap or from a pad placed where your hand already is. TEN-TAP programming lets you set which modes the switch cycles through, so the strobe can be removed from the sequence if you never want it.

What the ProTac 2.0 Rail Mount fits
It clamps directly to a MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail, and the supplied mount adapts it to an M-LOK handguard, so most AR-pattern rifles, straight-pull uppers and railed shotguns take it. Without the switch and hardware, the same light is the ProTac 2.0 Rail Mount, light only, and for a far tighter beam the ProTac 2.0 Rail Mount HP at 85,000 candela is the long-throw version.
