The SIG Sauer ROMEO8H is a 1x enclosed red dot sight with a 38 mm clear aperture and a selectable Ballistic Circle Dot reticle built around a 2 MOA red dot.
The 38 mm window is the whole argument for a ROMEO8 over a micro dot: a wide, uncluttered view that the eye finds immediately when the rifle comes up in a hurry.
The housing is 6061-T6 aluminium, waterproof to IPX-7 and fog-proof, measuring 90.9 x 56.13 x 64.5 mm at 11.3 oz, with a stated mount height of 1.535 in. Power is a single CR123A rated at 50,000 hours, and MOTAC brings the reticle up when it senses movement and shuts it down when the rifle is left alone.
