The SIG Sauer ROMEO4T, item number SOR43031, is a 1x sealed red dot sight with a 20 mm clear aperture and the Ballistic Circle Dot reticle, powered by a solar panel with a CR2032 cell behind it.
The panel does the work in daylight and the battery waits its turn, which is how SIG reach a rated life beyond 100,000 hours rather than measuring runtime in months.
The housing is 7075 aluminium weighing 7.6 oz and sealed to IPX-7 and IPX-8, and the sight ships on a 1.41 in riser with a lower 1/3 spacer, so the deck height can be set to the rifle. Adjustment is 0.5 MOA per click, and SIG give the total travel as 100 MOA of elevation and 100 MOA of windage. Twelve brightness settings run ten for daylight and two for night vision. The reticle is not one pattern but four: SIG list a dot, a circle-dot, a dot with holds and a circle-dot with holds, selected on the sight rather than fixed at purchase. That covers close work with the circle, deliberate shooting with the bare dot, and holdovers at distance without changing optics.
