The SIG Sauer ROMEO-X Compact is a 1x24 open reflex red dot sight on the RMSc (Shield) footprint, with a selectable 2 MOA red dot and 32 MOA circle, part number SORX1200.
It is built for the slim slide rather than adapted to it, which is why the deck height is low enough to co-witness with standard-height irons on a compatible pistol.
The housing is CNC-machined 7075 aluminium sealed to IPX7, standing 0.94 in tall over a 24 mm aperture, with an aspherical lens chosen to keep the view free of distortion. The CR1632 cell loads from the side, so it changes without unbolting the sight from the slide.
Illumination runs to 15 settings, twelve for daylight and three night-vision compatible, and the cell is rated at 20,000 hours. MOTAC wakes the sight on movement and shuts it down when it is put away, with MAGNETAC as the second activation route. The circle is what you find quickly at close range and the dot is what you use when the shot needs care. SIG does not publish a weight for this model, so none is quoted here. The emitter is open rather than sealed, which is the trade you make for the small body.
