The SIG Sauer SORX1030 is the 3 MOA version of the ROMEO-X Pro: a 1x24 open reflex pistol sight on the DeltaPoint Pro footprint, in black.
A single 3 MOA dot with nothing around it. Finer than the 6 MOA version for deliberate shooting, still quick enough under time, and free of the circle the circle-dot model projects.
The housing is CNC machined from 7075 aluminium and rated waterproof to 10 metres, which SIG give as IPX-7. A CR1632 cell powers the emitter for a rated 20,000 hours, and MOTAC motion activation wakes the dot when the pistol moves and shuts it down when it does not. Illumination runs across fifteen settings, twelve for daylight and three for use behind night vision, over a 24 mm aperture.
Dot size is the whole decision in this range and 3 MOA is the middle of it: it covers less of a distant target than 6 MOA while still being found quickly on presentation. The mounting pattern is the other half of the decision. This is a DeltaPoint Pro footprint optic, so it fits a DPP-cut slide or an optics-ready pistol supplied with a DPP plate, and nothing else without one. What the ROMEO-X Pro 3 MOA fits
It needs a DeltaPoint Pro cut, either machined into the slide or provided by a DPP plate on an optics-ready pistol. A larger dot for speed is the ROMEO-X Pro 6 MOA, a selectable circle-dot is the ROMEO-X Pro 2 MOA / 32 MOA, and for a slim slide the ROMEO-X Compact uses the RMSc pattern instead.
