The SIG Sauer ROMEO-X Pro in green (SORX1070) is a 1x24 open reflex sight on the DeltaPoint Pro footprint, with a selectable 2 MOA dot and 32 MOA circle reticle.
Green at the same output reads brighter to the human eye than red, which is the entire reason to choose this version over the red one beside it.
The housing is CNC machined 7075 aluminium, waterproof to a rated 10 m (IPX-7), with a distortion-free aspherical lens across the 24 mm aperture. A CR1632 cell powers it, rated by SIG for 20,000 hours, and the tray loads from the top so the optic does not have to come off the host to change it. MOTAC wakes the reticle on movement and shuts it down at rest, with MAGNETAC as the companion activation feature.
Fifteen brightness settings cover a wide spread of conditions, twelve for daylight and three for use behind night vision. The reticle can be run as a 2 MOA dot alone for precision, a 32 MOA circle alone for speed, or both together, which is the useful compromise on a pistol at close range. Mounting is decided by footprint, not by brand: the sight needs a DeltaPoint Pro slide cut or a DPP adapter plate, so confirm which cut your host carries before ordering.
